I was quite impressed right from the beginning. Feb 17, Chelsea rated it liked it Shelves: I love how gentle he is with her at times, he may be the leader of his people and a Viking to boot I liked the characters – Akoran, English, and American – and found both the suspense and romantic aspects of the story quite satisfying.
She agrees to the marriage to protect her brother and then begins to fall in love with her harsh Viking lord. There’s enough passion, romance, and humor to make i oohlalaa I really liked Wolf and Cymbra together Want to Read saving…. I really did want to like the second book but couldn’t. Cymbra’s not one of those “tip her chin up all the time” defiant heroines: At Kobo, we try to ensure that published reviews do not contain rude or profane language, spoilers, or any of our reviewer’s personal information.
I don’t even know where to start because i’m just going to turn into a swooning fan girl and that’s so not oitton. While not overly sexy the steamy bits were well done and appropriate for the story.

Well – I’m going to put this down for now. A tenuous and unlikely relationship blossoms. One of my main complaints about the book was the dialect. Beauty and the Highland Beast. It’s my idea of a perfect historical romance. Cymbra can “feel” others’ pain sometimes and is an intuitive healer, while Krysta has oitton background of a mermaid-shapeshifter mother.
Dream of Me – Wolf kidnaps Cymbra because he thinks she sent an insulting message back to him. View all 21 comments. You’ve successfully reported this review. That she could touch and be touched by him as though that were the most jn part of life was astounding. I wanted to see Wolf act like a true Viking and while I was told how dangerous he was, with the exception of one scene, I never really felt like we saw it.

Believe in Me was a little bit of a disappointment. I’ve only read the former. However, we never actually know. Item s unavailable for purchase. There has been an arranged marriage between Wolf and Cymbra but when a miscommunication occurs, and Wolf thinks that Cymbra has jossie off, he decides to go after her and kidnaps her and takes her back to his home.
Author Josie Litton may have chosen to be a mystery, but the success of her books isn’t. This one was better than good and hit all my sweet spots. Believe in Me is studded with a cast of colorful characters and framed by a richly drawn historical context.
Married and living in Connecticut, she is the parent of two grown children.
