I just wanted to read more about Fran, and that happened to be through this cancer memoir. Sometimes her emotions are raw and irrational, but who could remain rational with that misdiagnosis? She went to many different doctors to find out what was wrong with her but they all proclaimed her to be normal, just fine.

So, this review might be a bit biased, however And for a celebrity author, it’s well written and not terribly self absorbed. As a result, it’s darker, though not schnancer the expense of losing any of Fran’s humorous colloquial banter throughout the book.
